Heat seal coating
The colourless Vinyl Resin is applicable as per the Government regulations regarding direct contact medicines and drugs. This resin will be more suitable for heat sealing to any PVDC or PVC coated PVC films. When it comes to coating thickness for foil bottle seals for 4-6 GSM with a tolerance of +/- 0.5 GSM and coating thickness for 6-8 GSM is 4 with a tolerance of +/- 0.5.
Printing and lacquer coating
Printed as per the text, the layout and shade are as per the needs of the customer. For non-printed specification, the clear lacquer to be coated as the protective coating and it also offers a good printability. The printing inks and lacquer coating will be capable of withstand 180 degrees Celsius for 1 second dwell time.
Configuration
The printed and unprinted blister foil will be available in any of the reel forms. The unprinted blister foils are available in the jumbo rolls as well. When it comes to winding direction, it will be generally, printed or clear lacquer side with the heat seal coating inside. The core material options are plastic, aluminium or cardboard. The core ID would be 76 mm +/- 0.5 mm. The length of the core will be equal to the width of the web. The reel outer diameter will be 250 +/- 10 mm for the slit materials and 400 +/- 10 mm for jumbos.
